A postscript to non-representative ambivalence

Ethan Bronner's attempt to make Derfner and Eldar seem mainstream is thoroughly dishonest. If I was supposed to be impressed that the New York Times reported accurately earlier this week, Bronner's analysis has more than made up for the oversight. This might come as a shock to folks who believe dogmatically that the New York Times is usually fair to Israel. Accurately reporting one fact doesn't negate the Times's tendency to treat Israel unfairly.
