Posted by: Gail at December 28, 2009 2:31 PMBased on the ID of song #1 by Laura and TRN above, as well as SD confirming that my guess of "Monday Morning" for #2 was incorrect, I think the theme of each group is: the last word of song title X is the first word of title X+1. Right?
If so, song #2 must be The Beatles "Honey Don't"!
Very clever!!
Posted by: Elie at December 28, 2009 3:02 PMAnd now I know #19 (in fact I've used this song myself!) "Psycho Killer", Talking Heads.
Posted by: Elie at December 28, 2009 3:05 PMOoh, nicely done, Elie!
Now I see that 14 is Love Me Do.

Is 29 "Ball of confusion" by the Temptations?
Posted by: Yitzchak Goodman at December 31, 2009 6:05 PMBased on David's mid-week clues, is 16 by a Gibb brother?
"You should be dancing"?
Posted by: Yitzchak Goodman at December 31, 2009 9:25 PMBased on the hints, I think that 28 is "Red Rubber Ball" by The Cyrkle, so I'd bet that Yitzchak is correct about #29.
"You Should Be Dancing" was a Bee Gees song, but 16 could be "Shadow Dancing" by Andy Gibb.
