Many of the titles and/or songs so far are or could be romantic in nature. That goes along, sort of, with the R rating, but not really. And a few don't fit that. But the theme isn't really a theme, so maybe the usual approach isn't appropriate.

Many of the titles are statements or questions with both a first and second person stated or implied, as if something one might say to another. But again some are not. There would be many titles that fit that criteria, anyway, but the scope here seems to be somewhat limited as described above. And again, approaching it this way is probably not right.

Too many of the titles/songs have attributes in common for the theme to have to do with the artist or the date of release or the like.

But the theme is not really a theme!

The theme is not really a theme. What does that mean? Not a theme but . . . a puzzle? A puzzle!

Ooh, I think I know what it is. I bet order matters.

Could it be a conversation between two people who are or become romantically involved?

Let's see. Here's what we have so far, consecutive titles grouped:

1) Call Me
2) Are You Lonesome Tonight
3) All By Myself
4) I'd Really Love to See You Tonight

6) Hello It's Me
7) I Hope You Dance

12) Take Me Home Tonight
13) Kiss Me
14) I Think We're Alone Now

16) The Right Time of the Night

18) Will You Still Love me Tomorrow
19) I Will Always Love You
20) Sweet Dreams (Are Made of This)

22) When Will I See You Again

24) You Made Me So Very Happy

I think so! This is a dialogue! It's sort of like a previous edition in which the song titles asked and answered questions, but this is one ongoing conversation instead; it's a whole story!

It is a dialogue between two people who become involved romantically, dialogue taking place over a period of time, from the initial invitation to be called for a date, to the call and the making of plans, to an evening out and then, er, in, to presumably the next morning.

This is pure genius, Soccer Dad! Very well done.

Hahahaha, it is indeed rated R. The last lyric is sweet, though.
