The Francop, the ship that was intercepted last week by the Israeli navy ferrying arms to Beirut, docked in Egypt on October 11, apparently to load the cargo. It then headed towards Cyprus and then headed back to Egypt on October 18. It appears to have sailed through the Mediterranean over the next few weeks until it attempted to reach Beirut. There seems to be a break in it itinerary between October 29 and November 5. So did the reporting get messed up when the ship was captured? Is this information reported automatically or is it based on reporting by shipping officials?
One other interesting bit of information. When I looked up Francop, it was listed as a cargo ship carrying hazardous material.
