The council has spoken.

Last week's winning council entry was Joshuapundit's Obama Vs CIA: New WH Interrogation Unit Created As Panetta Threatens To Resign, a look into the secret war against the CIA. The runner up was Bookworm Room's Why pay $10 for Julie & Julia just to suffer gratuitous insults, a look at the casual prejudices on display in Hollywood.

On the non council side was Fouad Ajami's critique of the Obama administration in Wall Street Journal The Summer of Discontent. The runner up was my nominee's Ocean Guy's tribute Welcome Home Scott Speicher.
