Tuesday shorts

Yesterday I blogged about an uncritical Washington Post profile of Salaam Fayyad, even if one believes his intentions to be sincere, how can you trust the PA when you read this?

Also the Middle East continues to be central headquarters for outlandish conspiracy "theories." First there's the recycled "Israel is corrupting our children with tainted bubble gum." Now there's an Abbas killed Arafat storyline too. Personally I though the hyena - disturbing story, don't click on the link unless you have a strong stomach - did him in.
