At 1:15 AM she turned 148 weeks old.

As her third birthday approaches, more and more of her babyness disappears. No, she's not yet a little girl, but she's getting there.

She does express herself well. The other night when she heard the fireworks, she said that she heard, "noises in the sky" that went "bang, bang." She actually was pretty scared of them, and wasn't even in interested in them when we took her outside to see them. She just ran right back inside.

Of course some of her word choices remain amusing. Every once in a while we hear her say, "I urped."

She likes to play Go Fish with our "Finding Nemo" Go Fish cards. She enjoys the game but is under the impression that she can ask for any card she wishes rather than just those that she's holding. She'll learn eventually.

Yesterday we were rolling a ball back and forth. She insisted that I sit on the floor like her. That really wasn't that comfortable as I'm not quite as limber as a nearly three year old child.

She does love talking on the phone and a few weeks ago I called her nearly 4 year old cousin on her behalf so they could chat.

One of her older brothers went away to camp and she said that she misses him.

If I think of anything else, I'll hopefully add it over the next day or two.
