This week's Watcher's Council nominations are up.

Wade Rathke's Management Council - The Provocateur continues his investigation of ACORN. Everything, I assume, is public record and yet the media remains largely incurious about this group with one time ties to President Obama. And Mike's final observation is pretty devastating too.

Race Carding Sotomayor - Joshuapundit argues that the best approach to Sotomayor confirmation hearing is for Republicans to expose her views on identity politics, so the nation understands how the administration views on these matters. Given Frank Ricci's story and some recent polling numbers, this seems like a reasonable strategy.

It was sort of surprising to read this, because, in general, the judge's reputation has been pretty strong in the area of free speech. I wonder why she ruled differently here.
