For 95, Elie and I collaborated for the first time in a while. It's been fun. When I first suggested the theme, he asked, "Haven't we done this before?" But no we hadn't. Anyway, you know the drill no Googling, guess the song titles and figure out the theme.

3. "Making vows that just can't work right"
4. "Despite all the computations"

13. "Would it be enough for your cheating heart?"
14. "An we'll be movin' on and singin' that same old song"
15. "And lose the beauty of the melody"
16. "Truck on out and spread the news"
17. "I bought all the old Chuck Berrys 78s and all"
18. "The trick is to ride and make it to the bell"
19. "A thousand pictures can be drawn from one word"
20. "And electricity's a devil with a twenty amp fuse."
21. "Ba na na na... Hey! Ba na na."
22. "I hate the teachers and the principal"
23. "I'm a little bit Memphis & Nashville"

28. "Three thousand guitars, they seem to cry"

4. Is called "Rock and Roll," I think. It was on the "Loaded" album by the Velvets.
9. "G-d gave Rock and Roll to you"--Argent
10. There are also versions by Johnny Winter And and Edgar Winter's White Trash, but all versions have both Johnny Winter and Derringer playing on them, I think.

Is "Keep playing that Rock and Roll" by Edgar Winter in there somewhere? And isn't there a Little Feat song called "Rock and Roll Doctor"?

Did someone cover #9 in one of the "Bill and Ted" movies?

Also, is "Too Old to Rock and Roll" by Jethro Tull in there somewhere?

21) The History of Rock and Roll, Part 1 (Part 2?), Gary Glitter

Bonus: "I dig the Mamas and the Papas"

I thought the Gary glitter song, aside from whether it is Part 1 or 2 was just called "Rock 'n'Roll."
And while we're offering bonus clues:

B2: "There's no truth in a telephone booth."
