At 1:15 AM this morning she turned 135 weeks old!
A few weeks ago, she got an early dinner of chicken soup. Then she decided that she wanted yogurt. She went to her mother, who told her that she couldn't. Then she turned to her 18 year old sister and asked for the same thing. Her sister asked, "Did Imma say it was OK?" So she answered, "Imma said, 'no,' I said 'yes.'"
Another time her 7 year old sister wasn't feeling well, and Anne was giving her children's Motrin. So she started a fake cry and pointed to her ear. (She doesn't like most medicines, but Motrin, I guess, tastes good.)
So she's trying to learn guile. She's just a little too honest to be effective.
It's fascinating watching her language skills develop. She refers to her 7 year old sister as a "sister," but not to her 18 year old sister, whom she calls a "Wonka." I have no idea about the etymology.
Last night at dinner her 18 year old sister asked for French fries, so she directed someone, "Pass T the French fries." Then I was taking a slice of pizza for myself, and she told me "T wants a piece of pizza." (T didn't, but she must have enjoyed bossing me around.)
Her teenage brothers are away most of the time in Yeshiva. But when they come home, she positively worships them. She readily goes to them and especially loves their attention.
When she leaves the car, she now has to leave on her own. After we take her out of the carseat, she goes to the side of the van with automatic door. Then she has to close the door and open it again. She does like the power she has over us.
UPDATE: I forgot something big. A few weeks ago, I had taken stuff out to the car and came back to get her. When I got back to the house, she was wearing her jacket. (BTW, "jacket" to her is her spring jacket; "coat" is her winter coat.) It didn't register with me until a few days later when she put on her jacket in front of me. We tested her and, sure enough, she knew how to put on a jacket, by herself. (i don't think I could do that until I was 4.) She can also get on her pants by herself. She can dress herself a bit.

When I was young but quite a bit older than 31 months, I used to take more St. Joseph's baby aspirin than necessary because I liked the taste and texture. I guess making medicine palatable can have consequences that are not exactly safe.
I always enjoy these posts of yours. I am envious that your daughter has a father who takes note of and analyzes such things and makes an effort to record and share them.
Such a nice family you have.
