Several Israeli bloggers are blogging about the terror attack in Gush Etzion.
Jameel, Israelly Cool and Israel Matzav who writes:
Israel Radio notes that road blocks have been removed in the area recently. Thank you Hopey Changey.
Related thoughts at Treppenwitz. Elder of Ziyon comments:
As horrible as Qassam rockets aimed at civilians are, and as disgusting and deadly as suicide bombers are, there is something even more viscerally reprehensible at the thought of a man taking an axe and deliberately attacking children with it. Given the history of the Arab world celebrating Samir Kuntar, who similarly murdered a four year old girl by bashing her head in after murdering her father, this depravity is considered heroic and worthy of emulation. If the murderer gets caught, there will be summer camps in Ramallah named after him next year.
AP refers to Bat Ayin as a West Bank settlement. What's important to remember as part of Gush Etzion, (the Etzion bloc) Bat Ayin was occupied territory, from 1948 to 1967. It was purchased by Shmuel Yosef Holtzman in 1930 and acquired by force by Jordanian forces during Israel's War for Independence.
Ynet has identified the boy killed as 16 year old Shlomo Nativ.. The Jerusalem Post has an eyewitness account, by the man who got the axe away from the terrorist. Hamas, unsurprisingly called the attack "natural." No word yet from peace partners, Fatah, though I'd agree with the Elder we can't expect any outright condemnation from them either.

terrorists. And may the Media set the attacker ablazed!

well
now the goyim can again comfortably all join the chorus of sending condolence to Israel for another dead Jewish child..cut down close and personally with an axe
while waiting to pounce with accusations of genocide and massacre should Israel be so bold as to react
The Talmud takes the legal rule from Exodus and deduces the general principle of rightful conduct: "If someone comes to kill you, rise up and kill him first." Hebrew-English Edition of the Babylonian Talmud: Sanhedrin, folio 72a (Isadore Epstein editor, Soncino Press 1994).
