The Council has spoken. (Warning: graphic image!)
The winning entry was JoshuaPundit's What Netanyahu Should Say About Peace To The Arab World. It's a fine antidote to articles like Israeli Coalition Appears Fated to Clash With U.S. or Washington not happy with Netanyahu's "childish" refusal. One would hope that Netanyahu would be willing to challenge the Obama administration's assumptions. The question is how much political and diplomatic flack he's willing to sustain. The runner-up this week was my post If an appointee falls and there's no msm, is it still a scandal?. I re-worked this post into a bit more an op-ed style. The Baltimore Sun wasn't interested, but the American Thinker published it as Scapegoating the Israel Lobby.
The reason for the graphic photograph, is this week's non-council winner Welcome to Francis Ford Coppola's White House from Pajama's Media. The runner up was Michael Totten's The Worst Airline in the World; it's his tribute to .... Well read it. I think that Clay Shirky's Newspapers and Thinking the Unthinkable is well worth reading too.
Finally, please remember that the Watcher's Council is missing two Watchers. If you blog and think you have what it takes, read here.
And if you're interested in other doings of the Watcher's Council check out the results from the National Journal's latest bloggers' poll on the Obama administration and the economy.
