The council has spoken.
The winning entry this week JoshuaPundit's "60 Minutes" Libels Jews And Israel, which effectively skewers another "60 minutes" critique hit piece about Isreal. Tied for second place were # Cheat-Seeking Missiles'- Fair Treatment of Prisoners about the loud silence that we hear from America's critics of brutal terrorists and Mere Rhetoric's Austrian Jews Too Terrified To List Their Children As Jewish (Plus: Europe Reaches An Anti-Jewish Tipping Point) about the fear that Jews face in the land of Waldheim and Haider.
On the non-council side, the winning entry was Conventional versus Non-Conventional Warfare and Why Israel Did Not Lose in Gaza at the Chesler Chronicles at Pajamas Media. It's an explanation of the limitations of Israel's military campaign against Hamas. Tied for second place were the American Thinker's Change: The First Three Weeks documenting the "business as usual or even slightly more corrupt than usual" approach of the new administration and brand new free agent Nat Hentoff's The Cost Of Criticizing Jihadists about the legal impediments to fighting - or even criticizing - Islamism, the world over.
I had thought the Norm Geras's One Eyed in Gaza would run away with the non-council vote this week. Even though it didn't it is still a must-read.
