... whatcha knowing?

Yesterday morning I drove by a nearby corner and saw this:

Pay attention to the bottom of the lamppost. My best guess is that someone skidded on the snow Monday and knocked the lamppost over.

Last night I was very surprised to see this.

At the bottom of the first picture you can see that the wiring appears to be intact. Apparently it was.

Wow. We haven't had any snow to speak of in northern Virginia so far this winter.
