Where Did The Global Jihad Attack in 2008?

Better question: where didn't the Islamist terrorists strike? In the segment below from the 2006 movie Obsession, Caroline Glick reviews the many fronts in the Islamist war:



 What were the countries on the forefront of the battle against global Jihad in 2008? The website TheReligionOfPeace.com has been tracking the Islamist attacks since 9-11 and thus far, according to its list there have been12,614 deaths and injuries from those attacks. According to its detailed list of Islamist Terror Attacks in 2008, these attacks during the year 2008 took place in 41 different countries: Afghanistan, Algeria, Angola, Azerbaijan, Bangladesh, Chechnya, China, Dagestan, Denmark, Dubai, Egypt, Ethiopia, France, Gaza, Germany, India, Indonesia, Ingushetia, Iran, Iraq, Israel, Jordan, Kenya, Kosovo, Lebanon, Mauritania, Nigeria, Pakistan, Palestinian Authority, Philippines, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Somalia, Sudan, Sweden, Syria, Thailand, Turkey, UK, USA and Yemen. The table below that I put together based on the list on TheReligionOfPeace.com lists each country with the number of people killed and injured as a result of Islamist terror during 2008--totaling over 10,000 killed and over 18,000 injured. Check the original chart at ReligionOfPeace.org for the details of each of the attacks. Questions:

  • Why is the breadth of these terrorist attacks around the world not being reported by the media?
  • Why is the resolution of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict blamed for the instability of the Middle East and beyond, when clearly this is an Islamic issue around the world?
  • When will the world wake up and defend itself?

I don't recall the attack which took place in this country where three people were killed.
