Given that we just passed the 50th anniversary of the greatest game every played, I think there's some interest in another Baltimore/ NY Giants championship this year. It would even bring back memories of 8 years ago when the two teams met in the Superbowl in Tampa.
But perhaps Baltimore football fans don't want to go back so far. In 1970, Don McCafferty became the first rookie head coach to lead his team to a Superbowl championship. (The only other rookie coach to do so, was George Seifert in San Francisco in 1989. Jon Gruden won it in his first year at Tampa Bay, but he had previous head coaching experience.)
Still if being a rookie is an impediment, having a rookie quarterback is more daunting. No rookie quarterback has won the Superbowl. Joe Flacco is only the third rookie quarterback to win a playoff game, and the first one to do it on the road!
I feel pretty good about the Tennessee game but dread the Pittsburgh (?) game. Still the Ravens turnaround has been a pleasant surprise this year.
Posted by SoccerDad at January 9, 2009 4:13 AMI want to teach my children and grandchildren about Israel. The Jews. Can you help me?
When you find a Video about the Jewish people please add me to that e-mailing list or email me.
The younger generation watches multi-media much more than they read. I would like a Video link where I can instantly down load a Video that portrays Israel from their view-point. Not from a biased media or the Arab point of view.
How long will it take you to convince Israel it is in their favor to create and make available to the world an immediate down-load of related Videos?
