Council speak 08/31/08

The Council has spoken, at its new home.

The winning council entry was the Razor's Russia the new Cold War. Runner up was Wolf Howling's What does Joe Biden offer to Obama?

The non-council winner was Michael Totten's The truth about Russia and Georgia. A critic quoted at the NYT called Totten a "hack." I guess so-called experts are scared to have their sacred place in newspaper hierarchy challenged by someone who actually goes out and does reporting. The runner up was Seraphic Secret's The terrorist is still dead, a tribute to an old friend who saw to it that a terrorist who was threatening his neighbors would not later be released as a "confidence building measure."

Congratulations to all the winners.
