Guessing early

Andrew Lee Butters apparently figured out that Sen. Biden was Sen. Obama's pick, based on the deployment of the Secret Service.

Now some news reports are saying that Gov. Pawlenty of Minnesota has cleared his schedule for tomorrow, suggesting that he is Sen. McCain's pick.

Other news reports claim that Gov. Romney's family has gone through a security sweep suggesting that he is the pick.

Though I haven't found it, IIRC four years ago someone e-mailed Instapundit that he had seen a Kerry/Edwards campaign plane the night before the announcement. My guess is that the security sweep is the more telling bit of information, but it isn't as definitive as a campaign plane. Is there any such intelligence that gives the away the game?

UPDATE: I'm not asking anyone to betray a confidence. Obviously there are those in the know who were sworn to secrecy. (And I know how to keep a secret.) But if someone outside of those authorized to know would happen to notice some evidence of McCain's pick ....
