Where have you gone?

The next National Journal question was which figure does Barack Obama most closely resemble:
Jackie Robinson, John Kennedy, Bill Clinton, Jimmy Carter or Colin Powell. Not surprising the ROC bloggers favored Jimmy Carter. I thought that the LOC bloggers would favor Jackie Robinson, but instead they favored John Kennedy.

My comment was:

If we're talking about breaking a barrier, cases can be made for Kennedy, Robinson or Powell. Instead I'll focus on the political: He's promoting himself as an agent of change without the requisite experience to be president. He promises to break from an unpopular Republican predecessor. And to bolster his weak credentials he's tapped a respected senator as his vice president.
