Help-mates

Thanks to Daled Amos and Oyvay Blog for their congratulations. It's funny, that I didn't notice until I saw the latter post that Instapundit was also on the panel. I really don't understand what I'm doing bloggers who have more visitors in an hour than I get most days. But I'm still flattered.

The National Journal has posted two more questions.

Will Michelle Obama help or hurt her husband?

I thought neither. Again the results showed a split. The left of center bloggers generally thought (by a wide margin) that she would help and the right of center bloggers thought that she would hurt. I figure that she will reinforce her husband's strengths/weaknesses in the eyes of his supporters/detractors. When has a wife ever made a difference in an election?

The other question is: what should Hillary Clinton do with her speech tonight?
Attack McCain
Praise Obama
Burnish the Clinton's image

Here the differences between right and left are again stark, with the right of center bloggers emphasizing "burnishing" and the left of center bloggers emphasizing "praising." FWIW I wrote in "attacking" and "praising." If you put your mouse over the pie chart you can see the comments. I was fascinated that one other participant wrote in the same combination and gave the same assessment as me. Sen. Clinton is a team player, she won't be so tacky as to promote herself during Sen. Obama's moment. If I had to choose only one, I'd go with "praising Obama."
