The council has spoken.

The council winner this week, is Done with Mirrors' Get Your Grim Milestone Today? a short but pointed post about the arbitrariness of war critics who use round numbers to demonstrate the futility of the war. Council runner up was What Would You Do? by Bookworm Room about the narrowness of outlook of those who find the American government is irredeemable.

A tiebreaker gives the dramatic Stake Through Their Hearts by Michael Yon the non-council win over the sobering runner up CAIR Exposed: Part 1 from The Investigative Project on Terrorism.
