The watcher's council has spoken.

The scientific debunking performed by Big Lizards, "The Courage to Do Nothing" won the council side of the voting. Cheat Seeking Missiles' portrait of an anti-religious evangelical teacher, Separation of Church and State, Secularist Style was the runner up.

On the non-council side of the competition The Ornery American's (Orson Scott Card) A Stand-up President, an excellent and sympathetic case for President Bush won the non-council vote by virtue of a tie-breaker. The profile of an anti-Islamist, A Muslim American at National Review Online was the runner up.
