Musical monday the friday happy birthday edition

1) It's a pretty good crowd for a Saturday
2) It's just imagination they lack
3) Like the whippoorwill and the babys cry
4) What you see revealed within the anger is worth the pain
5) And then you’ll have to eat your lunch all by yourselfj
6) Sometimes you're the louisville slugger
7) Kids flash guitars just like switch-blades
8) Serenade the weekend squire, who just came out to mow his lawn
9) On a freshly fallen silent shroud of snow.
10) Looking back at the years gone by like so many summer fields

OK. This is outside of the realm of the regularly scheduled Musical Mondays and the only person I expect to guess the theme is the birthday boy. I considered one lyric per year, but that would have taken much too long. (Who am I kidding, I'm older than he is.)

Anyway Happy Birthday!

Wow - thanks! You really know me - a special theme just for me! Again, wow.

I'll let others guess the individual songs first. (Funny - song #10 is playing right this moment on WCBS-FM!)

Actually I forgot these were from a post of mine. I first thought you came up with the list based on what you knew were some of my favorite songs.

For those guessing, no fair looking it up on my blog; that's just one step up from Google-ing!
