The here.">council has spoken.

I don't know if this has ever happened before but fresh off of winning the non-council voting last week, newcomer Wolf Howling wins the council voting this week with his Of Islamist Foxes and British Chickens about how the British appointed two Islamist organizations to join a national body of Muslims. I wonder if the Watcher can tell us if that's happened before.

The winning non-council post was Teddy Mohammed at Pierre Tristam's Middle East Issues Blog about the infamous Teddy Bear incident in the Sudan.

The runner up in the Council voting was Cheat Seeking Missiles' FBI rebuts CAIR scare tactics. I'm no fan of the concept of hate crimes. But now that we have them you'd think that people would pay attention to them. Hate crimes mostly occur in states with large urban populations. And despite the spin that many will express, the ethnic group suffering from the highest rate of hate crimes is Jews. Not blacks. Not Muslims. The non-council runner up is The 2nd Annual Worst Quotes From The Daily Kos (2007 Edition)

My nominee The UNRWA and Palestinian suffering came in third. It also inspired a blog post and op-ed by Jewish Current Issues.
