The Council has Spoken. This week's winning Council Entry was "Murtha: underhanded and overlawyered, a look at the Congressman's reckless behavior in the aftermath of Haditha. The runner up was Right Wing Nuthouse's The enormous damage to our space program by the 'Space Race.' in which he discusses the long term costs to the space program incurred by trying for short term success in order to surpass the Russians.
Both council members are repeating their wins from last week, congratulations.
The winning non-council post was Publius Pundit's Battleground Che, which criticizes the ignorance of the revolutionary chic cult of Che. Runner ups are Mission Accomplished at Prospect Magazine, which argues that much of what the U.S. set to accomplish in Iraq has happened, and 'Journalists' Tell Howard Kurtz Why Good News from Iraq Shouldn't Get Reported (updated w/video). For an excellent demonstration of the hypocrisy in the latter item, check out Maryland Conservatarian's There are trends and then there are trends.
If you'd like to participate next week follow the rules here.
