1) My great-grandfather arrived in the U.S. nearly 99 years ago, Dec 19, 1908.
2) The rest of his family including my paternal grandfather arrived nearly 4 years later, Nov 16, 1912.
3) My paternal grandfather emigrated to Israel in the summer of 1971.
4) My maternal grandfather was one of 4 brothers who were admitted to the Massachusetts bar.
5) His brother, my great-uncle played semi-pro baseball in the Boston area.
6) I can recite Jabberwocky by heart. (And I used to perform it with my brother and a friend while in high school.)
7) I know how to operate a manual transmission.
9) I'm fascinated by Pythagorean triples .
