Hello i'm jib and you're not

Israelly Cool! the originator of the JIB awards has asked Israel Forum not to use the term JIBs for its poll. Since the voting will be significantly changed from previous iterations, Israelly Cool! didn't want the project to keep the name.

Life of Rubin wasn't pleased with the JIB's either and declared January to be Jewish Blog Awareness month. In honor of his celebration (and with great gratitude for his kind words about Haveil Havalim) let me give you a few links you ought to read.

My good friend Elie's Expositions writes about life and culture. He can both be very moving and very entertaining depending on the topic.

Another friend Daled Amos has his own place. In recent months he's started posting occasionally at Soccer Dad and getting lots of attention.

Elder of Ziyon is a blog that I've enjoyed since I first found it. I'm glad to see that he's started getting the attention he deserves.

There's Pillage Idiot who created the Maryland Blogger Alliance who has become a friend over these past two or so years. Most of his stuff is funny. Once ever 10 or 15 posts he tries to be serious.

Crossing the Rubicon3 manages to keep up with a lot of what's going on regarding Israel and pop culture too.
