Council speak 01/12/07

The Council has spoken and with the tie breaking vote of the Watcher himself, has declared Done with Mirrors extensive historical examination of Why is there still a CIA? this week's Watcher's Council winner. That left Colossus of Rhodey's American Fascists, an excellent takedown of former NYT reporter Chris Hedges in second place.

In the non-Council section, Blackfive's A strategy for the long war took first place. There was a tie for second place between Tiger Hawk's Jimmy Carter and the business of quoting dictators, a look at the former President's inconvenient friends and Israel Matzav's Is Israel really going to strike Iran's nukes; a re-examination questioning the veracity of a recent much remarked upon story in from London's Sunday Times.

If you'd like to participate in the festivities, the Watcher tells you how you can be considered, even if you're not a member of the Council.
