Council speak 10/27/2006

The Council had spoken on October 27, 2006 and once again there was a tie. But this time between only two entries among the Council Post.

This time the Watcher cast his tie breaking vote to A Liberal Manifesto and Other Halloween Frights by Right Wing Nut House, a roundup of frightening ideas dressed up to look reasonable.

The runner up was Japan, North Korea and Nuclear Weapons by the American Future, a consideration of the nuclearization and militarization of Japan to serve as a buffer against North Korea.

Though I don't usually list the third place winner in this review, The Glittering Eye's Hostis Humani Generis, a brief history of piracy was unique, timely and enlightening.

Among the non-council posts, Archaeological Temple Artifacts Drive PalArabs Crazy by longtime Soccer Dad blogfriend Elder of Ziyon took the top prize.

The runner up was Fighting Back by The Mudville Gazette about the army's sometimes hamfisted efforts to fight enemy propaganda.
