Offhand, I don't know of any rabbi who tackles the question in quite that way, but How Orthodox Jews should Vote responds to a post from the NJDC blog that starts off with:

How Orthodox Jews should Vote offers a point-by-point rebuttal to such scintillationg summaries of GOP positions as
o guns are more worthy of protection than gunshot victimsBy all means, vote for Democrats, Republicans...whatever--but "arguments" such as these, described as "excellent" by the NJDC, is not the kind of stuff you should be wasting your time reading.
