Over the past few weeks, with Israel's defensive war against Hezbollah dominating the news, I fell behind following a few blogs I read for enjoyment.

First of all there's Not Quite Perfect (the official artist of Haveil Havalim) who does fractal art. I find the designs soothing and often mind boggling. She's had some great stuff lately including Night Shade and Glass Star.

Then there's the Almanac of Miscellaneous Merriment who keeps up with all the significant days of the year. Did you know that August 13th is Left Hander's day (how sinister) or that August 18th is Bad Poetry Day? Well if you read the Almanac, you'd know!

And then there's the Fire Ant Gazette based in Midland Texas. He has so many interests that his posts are (almost) always a place to learn something or see something new. How about aerial photography?

American Jewish History is, unfortunately, history as Menachem Butler has more important things to do than blog now that he's in graduate school.

And welcome back to A whispering soul; especially Music Monday where he gives his audience lyrics and its up to us to identify the song.
