The picture tells more than the text

I saw this caption of a picture at Yahoo! News last week

A sign shaped as the territory that includes the Gaza Strip, the West Bank and Israel is seen over a crowd attending a rally organized by the Islamic group Hamas in support of the Palestinian government led by Hamas Prime Minister Ismail Haniyeh and exiled Hamas leader Khaled Mashaal in the West Bank town of Qalqiliya Friday April 28, 2006. The writing in Arabic on the sign reads 'the Muslim Palestine group', a students organization affiliated to Hamas. (AP Photo/Nasser Ishtayeh)

Well what does it mean that sign is in the shape of "the territory that includes the Gaza Strip, the West Bank and Israel?"

Yes there's still a belief in Greater Palestine. Yes, though it means the destruction of Israel it doesn't provoke the same outrage as does "Greater Israel."
