Mystery no more

One of my blogging buddies is hanging up the old keyboard and now his blog Mystery Achievement has gone the way of all electrons. Duty calls and he must leave his family to serve the country for an extended period.

In a demonstration of the role blogging can play in getting a story out, he translated an Italian newspaper article that quoted former Iraqi Prime Minister Iyad Allawi saying that Ayman Al Zawahiri visited Iraq in 1999. Bloggers Roger L Simon and Austin Bay (among others) picked it up. It was a tremendous piece of work. And, to my mind anyway, possibly his greatest achievement as a blogger. No mystery.
