Bytes and carnivals

Recently I've submitted some posts to a variety of carnivals.

I had an entry in this week's Carnival of the Vanities. Check it out at The Cigar Intelligence Agency. For more info on the granddaddy of all blogging carnivals check this out.

A couple of other entries worth reading are The Future of Recorded Music and The triumph of hope over experience. (No I didn't look at every single entry, but these piqued my interest. By all means look around.)

Regarding the future of recorded music Colossus of Rhodey.Hube has posted on this and the Washington Post recently reported on this phenomenon.

I had an entry in this week's Carnival of the Cordite. A related entry dealt with the position of a neutral civlian in a war zone.

And last but not least I had an entry in Carnival of the Celebrities. And wouldn't you know it Mick Jagger's off to China. Apparently the Stones will show China the respect they showed Ed Sullivan.

In the Jewish Carnival category there is now a Kosher Cooking Carnival. (That's KCC not KFC nor McDonald's!)

And there's a new one coming up later this month. Not at it's originator's, Me-Ander, but at SerAndEz! BTW if you're interested in knowing what's hot around the J-Blogosphere during the week in between installments of Haveil Havalim check out SerAndEz for the (mostly) daily Ezzie's Blog Roundup. (Latest one here.)

I should also point out that Judeopundit has linkim on an occasional basis too.

And now that he's returning from his hiatus, refreshed and all, Life of Rubin is starting Interview with a J-Blogger, weekly interviews with the most popular (or maybe interesting) J-bloggers. (And he is, of course, hosting Haveil Havalim later today!)

UPDATE: And how could I forget the Muqata's Purim Parody Carnival? (I know, I know, I know, I haven't picked anyone to parody yet. I'll have to do that soon!)

That should keep you busy for awhile!
