Once upon a time the two most prolific contributors to OpinionJournal's Best of the Web Today were Barak Moore and Carl Sherer. For a few months now Barak has been blogging at IRIS. Now Carl has started blogging at Israel Matzav.

I'd like to thank Daled Amos and SerAndEz for defending me (and the other pro-Israel bloggers) better than I defended myself. As noted in Haveil Havalim #53, Daled Amos did a nice job of taking an earlier post of mind and expanding on it.

Last week Meryl Yourish had a breakdown of attempted and actual terror attacks against Israel for 2005. Some hudna. Meanwhile White Pebble (quoting the Belmont Club) notes that the Palestinian Arabs are killing each other with greater frequency than before.

A few bloggers have gone to NY this week for special occasions. Shiloh Musings is there to be inducted into NCSY's Ben Zakkai Honor Society. When I was in NCSY I wondered (with awe) what sort of person would be inducted and how dedicated they had to be. I'm sure that she will serve as a wonderful role model for those currently in NCSY.

Presence and Penny Stock went to see their brother/brother-in-law perform at Madison Square Garden. And wouldn't you know it? There's an Israel connection between O.A.R. and Matisyahu!

UPDATE: I forgot a few items I meant to include. On my blogroll I have a section "Infidels with Attitude" that include Mystery Achievement. Now it seems that Mystery Achievement agrees with my nomenclature and has gone off and joined the Infidels Bloggers Alliance - a group blog of like-minded infidels.

Finally Israel Perspectives has two beautiful, "only in Israel" posts. One is his celebration of "From Israel with Love" as he marvels at a new Israeli postage stamp. The other is "Israel: where there is more to life than meets the eye" where he tells of judging a young man dismissively, only to discover that the young man's appearance masked a righteous core.
