Something going on

The other day my local JACK station played a song "There's something going on" by Frida. Immediately I realized who Frida was and vaguely remembered the song. After listening for a few seconds something else came back to me.
Two questions (no fair googling or yahooing)
1) What musical quartet was Frida a part of?
2) Who produced the song? (Hint: The drum sounds very similar to the drum work on a hit by the producer about the same time.)
