The Yankees will beat the LAA of A tonight in the deciding game of the ALDS. So far in this series (if I've counted correctly) the Yankees have walked 20 times to the Angels 3. Last night when the Yankees squeaked by 3 - 2 they walked 8 times.
Though Colon has excellent control, against the Yankees this year, in only two starts, he struck out 6 and walked 5 and ran up an ERA of 8+. He did well (though he lost) in his first playoff appearance against the Yankees, but I'm guessing that the batters will be a little more patient with him with the series on the line. My guess is that we're looking at roughly a repeat of game 1 score-wise, but with the Yankees walking the Angels to death.
UPDATE: That crow was delicious! It looks like Baseball Musings's concerns about Mussina were correct. Actually, he doesn't blame Mussina.
