Idiots

I don't agree with disengagement. But I also don't agree with this. Pray, if you will, that the PM will change his mind, but praying or holding a ceremony for his death is beyond the pale. It's not that I believe that these ceremonies work; as Sha! points out:

What I want to know is: if this kind of crap actually worked, why wasn't it cast years ago on Arafat, Yassin, Bin Laden and others who have it coming? Just curious.

Of course there's no reason to assume that it's any more than a handful of kooks who are doing this. This is the responsible approach.

Notice that neither article bothered to aske a respected Rav such as Rav Elyashuv about the matter. Also notice that the article castigating the "ritual" manages to smear the entire religious zionist movement.

...as the ceremony may be conducted only against people who are Jewish according to halacha (traditional Jewish law).

Can Jewish muggles like me do this, or do you need super, magic, mystical powers? Because I have a little list, you know.

Pillage Idiot:

You need to have no personal involvement and be doing it solely for pure motives. You must be like Pinchas with Zimri, and even he only got off because a bas kol (voice from Hashem) testified as to the purity of your motives.

If your motives are not pure, the attackers can get you as well. When someone calls down judgement, he is also judged.
