Gail at Crossing the Rubicon has a heads up (literally) about watching the Geminid meteor shower tonight - around midnight. (The article she links to says that they can be seen anywhere in the sky. I don't know if there's too much ambient light around here for me to see.)
For those so inclined, the blessing to make on seeing meteors is "Oseh Maasei Bereshis" ( "He who makes the work of Creation" according to Artscroll.)
She also has a rant about Europe, "They Don't Like Us?":
Europeans think the worst of America, and on the heels of the Holocaust, and additionally given their current lack of support for Israel, it will be difficult for me personally to forgive or forget. I have no desire to "win over Europeans." If they don't like Bush or Americans, so be it. This is their choice and is not of my doing, and I don't intend to lose a moment's sleep over it.
