I've been producing a weekly Newsletter about Israel for 8 1/2 years now. I miss about 4 or 5 weeks a year. This week is #400. Check it out in HTML or in PDF. (pdf courtesy of BCL Technologies.)
When I started the project in February 1996, it was more consequential. Few people had Internet access.
Because of the terror that exploded at the time I tried to fit in as many profiles of those killed as I could. I didn't want them just to be numbers.
My other emphases are on good news from Israel and on the continuing hatred of the Arab world for Israel.
I originally called it "News and Comment from Israel that you Probably didn't Read Elsewhere."
Despite the fact that internet usage is much more common now, there are still a handful of people who don't have internet and would like to see the stories. So I continue to publish for them.
