Last week Arutz-7 reported "Israelis are Happy With Life". On the other hand Israel Line earlier this week, tells us "Survey Reveals Israelis Struggle to Survive Economically" True the former is a poll and the latter is the result of a survey by Central Bureau of Statistics, so the sources and survey methods are different. And it's also true that these don't necessarily contradict. But wouldn't you figure there to be a correlation between financial well-being and happiness (even if money doesn't buy happiness.)
One other possibility is brought up by the Finance Ministry that points out in the Israel Line article that the survey was taken last year before the economy started rebounding.
Or maybe Israelis just enjoy struggling. :-)
